There are a variety of high performance Rockwool solutions based on the type of roofing construction. Rockwool products may be used to provide effective thermal insulation of roof spaces. Rockwool products easily fulfil and can exceed thermal requirements as required by building legislation, including The Approved Document L (England & Wales) and Part J (Scotland). Insulation is typically used as roll or blown as granulate between and over joists. If using the loft for storage or living purposes it may be better to look at insulating the rafters.
